Felicity manufactured her stage debut around these productions, & at a age of xix, starred in the film, Shakespeare Wallah (1965), loosely based on her personal's real-life case. In her link to to Britain, she encountered that her film appearance was non the passport to profits, & her struggle to build an acting career was yearn & hard, part because of her unusual upbringing. Around 1975, she got her large break using a sitcom, The Good Life, which made her the personal title.

When this series ended, she starred around many more BBC sitcoms, none of which achieved the profits of The Full Life. Despite this, she maintained her popularity.

She is particularly popular by owning male viewers, & was voted "Rear of the Year" for her appearances wearing wellington boots in The Good Life. This compliment was late reiterated, inside the distant new, in an episode of Red Dwarf. She wwhen selected as one of a FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 1995.

Kendal's stage career blossomed when you took a 1980s and 1990s. Her relationship sustaining dramatist Tom Stoppard was both personalized & agent. She starred around the foremost productions of several of his plays; in 1991 Stoppard left his wife to start a relationship sustaining Kendal.

Her virtually all recent act is the murder mystery, Rosemary & Thyme, where she plays a gardener, Rosemary Boxer, who, together with fellow friend and ex-policewoman Laura Thyme (Pam Ferris), solve mysteries near their work.
